The Charlotte Courthouse has been designed with some of the latest advancements in courtroom technology. There are eight district courtrooms including two for special proceedings. The Court provides evidence presentation equipment to any member of the bar practicing within the western district of North Carolina. Click the links above to learn more about the courtrooms.
Please note, this court uses the JERS system to capture evidence in the courtroom. Information on JERS can be viewed here. Training and testing sessions for this equipment should be requested well in advance as instruction cannot be provided on the day of the proceeding by either the courtroom or clerks office staff.
