The United States District Court for the Western District of North Carolina will continue operations in the usual course notwithstanding any shutdown of the federal government caused by the failure to enact an appropriation or a continuing resolution. Parties and counsel should appear for court as scheduled.  Parties and counsel remain obligated to comply with the filing requirements of the Federal Rules of Procedure and this court’s Local Rules.
