   Courtroom Technology

The Court provides evidence presentation equipment to any member of the bar practicing within the western district of North Carolina. This system displays evidence throughout the courtroom on monitors located on the judge’s bench, clerk’s table, witness stand, jury box, and counsel tables. Requests for using this equipment can be made here. Please note that this court uses the JERS system to capture evidence in the courtroom. Information on JERS can be viewed here. Training and testing sessions for this equipment should be requested well in advance as instruction cannot be provided on the day of the proceeding by either the courtroom or clerks office staff.
